What will you be doing?
As a Facilities Assistant, you and your colleagues are the face of the organization. You ensure a warm welcome and a professional appearance for the office in Amsterdam.
Your responsibilities:

  • Daily supervision of the office and the building: walking rounds, identifying defects, and taking action
  • Coordinating repairs, maintenance, and technical interventions
  • Coordinate with the property manager and external parties
  • First point of contact for facility-related reports from colleagues
  • Registering and handling reports
  • Ensuring that daily office facilities are well organized (mail/logistics, pantry, dishwashers, lunch orders)
  • Supporting health and safety/environmental matters, including contributing to the RI&E and monitoring action points
  • Coordinating emergency response, safety procedures, and evacuation plans
  • Procurement of office supplies, furniture, and facility services
  • Monitoring costs, checking invoices, and contributing ideas about efficiency and sustainability
  • Coordinating facility projects such as redesigns, internal relocations, and minor renovations
  • Support with fleet management (pool cars, rental cars, lease coordination)
