I am Kristian Verlaan, an experienced Resource Manager working at RedCarpet. I come from the IT industry, bring a lot of experience as a former IT Consultant, which allows me to speak the right language for customers and consultants. I know the market like no other and know exactly what the client wants. Our recruitment is like a boutique shop. The wheat is separated from the chaff. As a result, my clients get the consultants that fit their needs perfectly.

I am Rian Barnes, an enthusiastic Managing Director and co-owner at RedCarpet, based in the vibrant heart of Amstelveen. My story begins in Amsterdam, where I was born, but my roots also extend to England because of my English father. As a result, I was raised bilingual and feel at home in two cultures.
My work at RedCarpet includes leading all commercial activities, building strong relationships with customers and partners, and developing innovative solutions that help our customers thrive in an ever-changing marketplace. What energizes me in my position is seeing our efforts result in growth and success for our company, and providing value to our customers.
My qualities lie in my ability to communicate effectively, identify strategic opportunities and build strong relationships. I am driven, results-oriented and always looking for ways to make a difference, both professionally and personally.
In addition to my work at RedCarpet, I enjoy quality time with my family, traveling to new destinations and discovering culinary delights. Finding the perfect work-life balance is essential for me, and I feel blessed to be able to do this while working at a company I love and believe in.

I am Desiree Wijdh and live with my husband and son in Aalsmeer. Before I made the switch to RedCarpet, I worked for several years as a Branch Manager at a Recruitment Agency in Amstelveen.
I have joined the RedCarpet team since January 2023. In addition to all HR related matters, I am a real spider in the web in the operational area. I enjoy being of service to our permanent staff as well as our IT professionals and clients. In doing so, I like to help make the daily workflow run as smoothly as possible for everyone. The diversity of my job makes that no 1 day is the same and that there are plenty of fun challenges and that makes me happy! Do not hesitate to contact me, I like to think along and help!
Desiree Wijdh - Manager of HR & operations

Building a bright future together for this company
I am Marc Swaan, financial with now many years of experience in the mediation market. In 2016, I started as a salaried employee at a wonderful job placement company in Amsterdam. I got to know the market there and, as a controller, was able to witness very closely how that company grew into one of the largest brokers in the country.
I find it fascinating to see how the job placement market is constantly changing, and from a financial point of view I am constantly optimizing business processes to adapt the companies I work for to the continuous changes in the market. Think of laws and regulations, but especially technology (best fit ERP systems, application of robotization, AI, etc.).
In the middle of 2022, I decided to make the step to an independent existence, focusing mainly on supporting companies in optimizing their business processes. Think here mainly about operational finance processes and financial reporting issues.
At RedCarpet I see a proud company, which passionately strives to get the best person in the right place. Building a bright future together for this company is where I feel at home.
In addition to my work, I enjoy me family at home and enjoy playing squash, cycling and enjoying a delicious aged beer.

Making success and impact
I am Pascalle Pieper, an experienced controller. Working as Manager of Finance & Control at RedCarpet since April 2024.
After completing my master's degree in Accountancy & Control, I started working in secondment. Eventually I decided that I wanted to work as a controller and I ended up at an employment agency in Amsterdam/Hoofddorp. Here I experienced many financial aspects.
My ambition is to work with RedCarpet to complete challenges to success and make a positive impact on this growing organization. Working together to provide the RedCarpet feeling for both our employees and IT professionals and clients is what I am all about.
In my free time, I enjoy riding horses or going for a run. On weekends, I like to meet up with friends for game night and good conversation.
